Voices combines unique, international vocal tones and techniques--such as Tuvan throat singing, Balinese monkey-chanting, and hip-hop's beat-boxing--with the rich sounds of diverse a cappella singing styles, including doo-wop, Bulgarian choirs, barbershop quartets, South African miners' songs, and Gregorian chants.

Philip Hamilton, Ben Stevens and members of Voices bring you a series of hour-long workshops that cover musical and business topics, from arranging, to copyright, to managing. A cappella groups and individual vocal performers are welcome. (For groups looking for professional and peer feedback, there will be a masterclass in the afternoon; contact Joe Antonioli at jantonio@middlebury.edu to sign up.)
